How to connect your sources
Maya Insights integrates and collects data from third-party services called sources. Each source is an account you have already registered with a provider such as Google or Facebook. Maya collects data from those sources to build an integrated data warehouse, multiple dashboards and to provide you valuable insights.
In order to be able to retrieve data from the sources, you need to give Maya permission to access your account. This process is called connecting a source, and is slightly different depending on the provider or type of account that is being connected. For details for a specific source, see the relevant documentation section on each provider. This page gives only a general overview of the process.
Steps to connect an account:
Go to Sources page from the sidebar menu and click "Add Source" button, or follow this link.
Select the source you want to connect and click the "Connect" button.
Follow the instructions to give Maya Insights access to your account.
Success! Your account has been added.
What happens next?
After a few minutes, Maya will start loading data from your accounts and will update your dashboards. The process typically takes about 30 minutes but can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours depending on the amount of data.
FAQ
I’m trying to connect my account on a third-party service, but I don’t see it in the list of services to connect.
If you can’t see the provider in the list of services to connect, most likely it is not yet supported by Maya. We do however have certain sources we support that are still in beta and are only available to a limited number of customers. Therefore, we recommend you to contact our customer support.
After authorizing my account on the third party service, I see a message saying "No valid source account found." Why do I get this message even though I have an account?
You may have an account on the third party service, but are not yet registered on the specific product. For example, you may have a Google account, with no associated Google Ads subaccount. The most frequent reason for this error is that you logged in to the provider with the wrong account, such as your personal account instead of your work account.
I don’t see information from the newly connected source on my data warehouse or Maya dashboards.
It takes some time for Maya to load data from a new source. Typically after a few minutes, Maya starts loading an account, and it takes about 30 minutes to load it, but this varies widely depending on the amount of data, and can take up to 24 hours. If you still don’t see any data after 24 hours, please contact support.
